CityFolk Festival in Ottawa, Ontario was admittedly not one I was aware of but damn did they put together one hell of a lineup. The 2016 festival kicks off September 15 and concludes on Sunday the 18th with tons of today’s best in indie folk, alternative, and even some hip hop mixed in. The bill includes some of HBCVibes’ favorite artists such as Vance Joy, Blind Pilot, James Bay, Lake Street Dive, and John Moreland just to name a few.
So grab your passports and gas up the car cause this festival makes for perfect road trip material. The waining days of summertime would be accented perfectly with some quality live music and this ticket has plenty of it. The pre-sale will open up this Thursday, the 16th from 10AM to midnight so don’t miss out on your chance to snag a spot. Tickets and lineup info can be found here.
