Tiny Desk Concerts are arguably NPR’s best program. Some of today’s most prolific singer/songwriters have stripped down their sound and stepped into the office to stand amongst the copiers and water coolers and play an intimate, if not, campfire-esque casual set. Though if you strip down the Milk Carton Kids music much more there might not be anything left. The guitar and vocal duo has found an amazing richness to what could otherwise be a very sparse sound. Regardless, I have personally never heard harmony as remarkably tight as these two and I felt the need to throw it back to this particular show.
