Today marks a big day in the history of The Wild Feathers, as they release the official music video for their new single “Overnight.” The Wild Feathers found a good deal of success with their debut self titled album The Wild Feathers, making it onto the late night talk show circuit and headlining their own nationwide tour.
“Overnight” represents a daring step forward musically for the band. Their first album felt grounded in classic Southern Rock style, reminiscent of the Eagles or the Black Crowes. The new single feels like a big jump into more modern alt-rock with less Southern style and more emphasis on each individual singers’ voices rather than the usual harmony. While I loved their original sound I definitely enjoyed the new song and video and am excited to see where they go from here.
