Well, it’s just like it says in the title, Weezer has returned in the last week or so and released a couple of new singles. The latest one, “Do You Wanna Get High” has been touted as a return to form but I don’t know if I buy it. It definitely has moments where they sound like the Weezer we grew up with but overall there is a lot more dissidence, it feels punkier than what they’ve made their name with. I definitely respect the artistic direction, don’t know if I love the sound though. You decide what you think:
