This proves the dictum that you can put a great band anywhere and they’ll still sound like they do on an album, even a concrete hallway. At least I think that’s a dictum… Anyway this song is off the Avetts’ most recent album Magpie and the Dandelion. They put on the best live show in the business these days and have for over a decade now. Anyone who hasn’t seen them play needs to ASAP they are the most high energy high talent group you will ever get to see. If you can sound this good in a cramped basement then you will sound AMAZING on a stage.
